Stories about how loyal/smart the dog is? Funny stories?
well my German Shepard attacked a burglar that came through our front door. He left blood everywhere she attacked him so hard. she never would attack anyone that wasnt a threat.
once she was growling randomly in the middle of the night. I opened the door, she ran outside and started barking at thin air. or so i thought. then i backed up and I heard her barking and another animal hissing. then they fought for about two minutes. I ran inside to get a flash light and when i came back out, there was a dead bobcat laying in my driveway. Thats how loyal she was to me. she wouldnt let anything hurt me.

is there a service where you can send your puppy to be house trained?
Many trainers offer a service called board and train, where you send your pup to them for 2 weeks or a month and they train them in all the basics. I do have a private trainer, but I had some sessions with him and did not board my dog. I wanted to be the one to do the actual training. Look online in your area for board and train. good luck.

This is Ellie. She is a mix breed we got from the pound when she was less than 6 weeks old. Her mother had to be put down shortly after giving birth. She had a rough start in life, but now she the best dog I’ve ever had. And, I’ve had a bunch. She is great family dog and is sweet as can be. I’ve taught her tons of tricks, and she’s taught me a few too. I’ve been training her to talk. In this video, on my command she barks loud, barks soft, and growls. After a few weeks she mastered it! 0:52 is my favorite

The beginning of the video shows splash learning to sidestep out in front of me without looking back, this is our newest trick. Kiko learns how to shake a blanket. Later I am just doing some play training with Tug. And at the very end, Splash decides to do the limbo under a stream of water… Splash makes me laugh everyday…
